How does Taxibod work?
Booking a taxi via Taxibod is simple, fair and without surprises. Below we explain the whole process in 4 steps.

Enter your pick-up and drop-off address. You can also add stops along the way. Then choose the desired date and time, and indicate how many passengers are travelling.

Set your bid
Set the amount you want to pay for the ride. You decide the price — not the taximeter. The slider shows what a fair bid is based on distance and time.

Send to drivers
Your bid goes to all connected drivers nearby. They see your ride and can accept it directly. As soon as a driver accepts your bid, you receive a confirmation.
Accepted, or raise your bid
Does a driver pick up the ride? Great — you get a confirmation by email right away. No acceptance within a few minutes? Then raise your bid with one click and send it again.

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 1 hour before departure.

We're active in Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Amstelveen, Diemen, Oostzaan, Ouder-Amstel, Landsmeer, Duivendrecht, Badhoevedorp, Hoofddorp, Zwanenburg and Lijnden.
Can I use Schiphol or a hotel as pick-up address?
Yes, besides street addresses you can also enter airports, stations and hotels.
What if no driver accepts my bid?
No problem — you can raise your bid with one click and resend. The closer your bid is to the market price, the faster you'll find a driver.
How do I pay?
Payment is made directly to the driver — cash or by card in the vehicle.
